What Are You Waiting For?

Let’s talk about that problem that is spoiling your life? Stealing your joy? It’s something different for all of us. You know what it is. You keep putting it off, pushing it down, hoping it will go away or resolve itself. Your unconscious mind wants you to be happy so it will keep prompting you until you take action.
For a long time my issue was my weight. Piles of discarded clothes, strewn across the bed were often evidence of a night out. After trying everything I owned on twice, I would end up wearing the first thing that didn’t make me feel too miserable. I was obsessive about weighing myself, as if that action in itself would magically tell me something new, stepping on the scale in the morning to see once again the numbers going in the wrong direction. I didn’t find a perfect answer or a weight loss miracle cure (No I’m still not the perfect weight). I got results with the usual lessons of move more, eat less/better along with NLP techniques that I also use with my clients. Doing nothing except worrying was completely ineffective.
Sometimes the issue can seem impossible, especially if you have been struggling with it for a long time. Making the decision to act is the first powerful step. Here are some things to remember.
You have everything within you to achieve your goals.
There are wonderful resources out there that can support you.
You are no different to anyone who has succeeded where you have previously failed; failure is only feedback for you to find a better way.
You deserve to live a life without wondering what might have been.
If you wait for the perfect time to start, you will wait forever.

As Tony Robbins said “If you do what you’ve always done, you’ll get what you’ve always gotten.”
